Reproduction: Mitosis Food sorce: Consumer Size: Microscopic (unicellular) --- The plimeba is the starter for ???> It is able to change direction with ease due to it's four "wings". It feeds with the mouths on the tips of each "wing". The Plimeba's defense mechanism of expelling it's vacuoles has also been modified for catching drifting organic matter. It can releasing its vacuoles from all 4 of its wings which envelopes it's food and digests it externally before being dragged inside.
